Glazing films: A well-rounded solution for the home

Once you’ve discovered the benefits of Gutta’s glazing films, you won’t go back. They are highly transparent and adaptable – on top of that, they are particularly cost-effective. Their unbreakable and tear-resistant material makes them highly useful around the house, whether is is for a hobby, do-it-yourself projects, model-making and even in the garden.

Practical for home, garden and hobby

Our glazing films can be printed on demand and cut to size. They do not splinter and are flame retardant. They can be used for many purposes, such as:

  • cold frames
  • greenhouses
  • growing tunnels
  • modelling
  • temporary glazing
  • and much more

Good for the environment: Gutta’s glazing films are made from recyclable PET plastic, an ecologically friendly material. With our films, practicality, affordability and good ecological balance go hand in hand!

If needed, working with glazing films is easy

They give you all the freedom you need to pursue your project. You’ll see: Handling and attaching the films is accomplished in a few simple steps.

Here are some tips:

Cutting

Lay the glazing foil flat; score, break or cut. The films can also be scored and broken with a glass cutter.

Sawing

Make cuts with a high-speed hand or table saw, using a fine toothed, unrestricted, carbide-tipped saw blade. Make sure to provide sufficient support for the material.

Drilling

If possible use a plastic drill from Gutta, or alternatively a sharp HSS drill. The bore diameter should always be greater than the screw shank diameter.

Shaping

Shape the glazing films as needed, as radii for example, without any thermal action. The substructure determines the shape and assumes the static functions.
